Arrival:

By air: Dortmund has its own airport (DTM), but usually you find more convenient flights in Dusseldorf (DUS), Cologne/Bonn (CGN) or Frankfurt (FRA). From either airport, you typically take a train to Dortmund Hbf, and then S1 towards campus (see next).

By train: We're located on the TU Dortmund campus. Train "S1" leads there, either from Dortmund central station (Hbf) or from other cities (Dusseldorf, Essen, Bochum). Once you arrive at S1 station "Dortmund Universität", you either walk ~15 min to our office, or you take the suspension railroad ("H-Bahn") towards stop "Technologiezentrum" to shorten the walk to 5 min. NOTE THAT H-BAHN IS NOT OPERATING TEMPORARILY, AS OF 2026.

By car: There is guest parking right in front of our building. If you don't catch a slot there (we can't reserve them for you), park at the TU Dortmund parking lot, also for free but with a 5 min walk.
